Settlements
Spectrum is currently working with clients on Microsoft
settlements in three states.
- Arkansas -
This case was settled in September of 2006 for a total
amount of $37 million, to be paid out to consumer and
businesses who purchased certain Microsoft products for
use in Arkansas between 1998 and 2004.
- New
York - This case was settled in March
of 2006 for a total amount of $350 million, to be paid
out to consumers and businesses who purchased certain
Microsoft products for use in New York between
1994 and 2004.
- Wisconsin -
This case was settled in October of 2006 for a total
amount of $223 million, to be paid out to consumers and
businesses who purchased certain Microsoft products for
use in Wisconsin between 1993 and 2003.
